Zach Johnson shoots 66 at Glenmoor Open!
Zach Johnson, Assistant at Davis Park, extends his lead in the Player of the Year contest! He picks up 500 more points and $1000 for finishing first among the pros with a 66 at the Glenmoor Open. David Booth (amateur) wins the Glenmoor Open by shooting 65.
Utah Section PGA Masters Contest
The 2012 Masters Championship was epic as always. Bubba Watson’s four consecutive birdies on the back nine along with the creative shots only he could pull off, made Sunday at the Masters unforgettable. Bubba is a Masters Champion that all golfers can relate to.

Utah Section PGA Block Parties a Hit!
PGA Block Party is a huge success! Community event leaders and organizers have been enthusiastic about including PGA Professionals and golf learning programs in their schedules. One of the early Section introductory successes has been an Itty Bitty Snag Golf introduction program for 3-5 year olds held at the Herriman City Recreation Center. The Section is capturing the interest in golf of as many mothers as youth with this program.
Utah PGA Golf Professionals Honor 2011/2012 Award Winners!
The Utah Section of the PGA of America recently honored an impressive group of Golf Community Leaders and Awards Winners. The 2011-2012 “class” of award recipients were honored at a gala awards banquet held in conjunction with the 27th Utah Section Annual Meetings held in St. George Utah. One of the many highlights of the event was the presence of PGA of America President Allen Wronowski. ABC 4’s Award Winning Sportscaster, Wesley Ruff who served as Master of Cerimonies, joined President Wronowski.
