Desert Hills High School repeats for their 4th consecutive State Championship title as Schneiter’s Riverside Golf Course hosted the UHSAA 3A Girls High School Golf State Championship! Schneiter’s Riverside in Ogden, Utah provided great conditions and the players provided great scores for this State Championship event. On almost a perfect weather day, the Thunder had four girls place in the top ten and combined to win their fourth consecutive state Championship by a 32 point differential.
Last year’s runner up Katie Perkins (72 stroke, 89 stableford) of Deseret Hills got on a birdie streak with 4 in a row on the back nine and earned the Individual State Championship honors! Congratulations to the girls from Pine View for winning the second place trophy! Thank you to all the coaches, parents, and grandparents who have supported the players all season long and today in the State Championship!
