5/20/13 (Day One) Hubbard Golf Club, Hill AFB, Utah- The Utah Section PGA Match Play Championship started in what has become a traditional rain shower but ended under partly sunny skies. The week-long event began Monday morning with a combined Presenting Sponsor VLCM Pro-Am and Match Play Seeding event.
Despite the weekend drenching that the course took, conditions couldn’t have been in better shape. Course Superintendent Travis Wilson provided some of the best greens that these professionals have seen this year. Hubbard GC PGA Professional and General Manager Tony Angelico had his staff running on all cylinders providing VLCM Guests with great service. Great conditions and super service is why this event has become such a sponsor and professional favorite.
