Spanish Oaks provided a full weekend of great golf for 33 Utah Section PGA Professionals and several amateur players in the annual Spanish Oaks Pro-Am and Open. The weekend of events started with the Pro-Am on Friday in which host Professional Ryan Rhees lead his team to a tie for the win at +20 with Rick Roberts’ team.
The two-day Open began on Saturday and ended Sunday afternoon. Going into the final round Dustin Volk (2011 Player of the Year) and Steve Schneiter were tied at 66. Schneiter was able to pair his first round score with another 66 on Sunday to win the Open with final score of 132. Roy Christensen shoots 75-72 (147) to win the Senior Division.
