The beautifully conditioned Oakridge CC was host to 120 Utah Section PGA Members and a bunch of great golf. The stage is now set for another great championship season in the Utah Section. At the Utah Section Spring Meeting and Pro-Pro, 32 teams were seeded for the season long Utah Section PGA Four-Ball Championship. Defending Champions Zach Johnson, Davis Park GC and partner Shawn Edwards of Hubbard GC, will have their hands full defending against a strong field of competitors.
The team of Matt Baird and Chip Wesley will represent a formidable challenge in season’s Four+Ball Championship providing their seeding score (four-ball stroke play) of 62 stays representative of their play in future matches. Both the Spring Pro-Pro and Four-Ball Championship Seeding were held concurrently at Oakridge CC. Dustin Volk and Pete Stone were one shot back at 63. The defending champion team of Johnson/Edwards tied for third place with Chris Moody & Mark Owen at 64.
