The Utah Section PGA lost one of its valued members on the eve of its fall meetings and Section Championship. Mark Baliff was known as a Utah Golf pioneer for his golf course architecture and his junior golf involvement. Mark Baliff began his multifaceted golf career at Ogden CC with the influence and support of both Ernie Schnieter Sr. and George Schnieter Sr. PGA Golf Professional Mark Baliff will be easily remembered as local golfers play his well-designed golf holes.
