We would like to thank all of the players who participated in the 2013 Ed Kenley Memorial Pro-Am that was held at Oakridge Country Club on Monday, April 29th. We enjoyed extra nice weather and managed to avoid the high winds that were predicted for the afternoon. We introduced a new format this year. We played in fivesomes consisting of one pro and four amateurs. The scoring format was; two net balls on the par 5’s, three net balls on the par 4’s, and four net balls on the par 3’s. The feedback we received on the changes that were implemented has been very positive and the players really enjoyed themselves. Again, we thank everyone who participated and let all of you who weren’t able to play know what an enjoyable Pro-Am you missed and hope you may be able to attend next years event. We look forward to seeing everyone soon for the Utah Open as we host that wonderful event for our seventh and final year. Best wishes to Riverside Country Club when they become the 2014 site. I hope we are all able to enjoy a prosperous and successful 2013 golf season!
