The last few years I have borrowed a page out of Jon Gordon’s playbook and instead of listing endless goals and resolutions, I decided to choose “One Word” to be the focus and driving force for my upcoming year. I passed on the lengthy lists, the hopeful resolutions, and did not set any first of the year goals. Just One Word. One Word to be my focus. I am doing this again for 2026.
Gordon talks about the six dimensions of your life:
- Mental
- Physical
- Emotional
- Relational
- Spiritual
- Financial
Selecting your One Word can impact all six dimensions of your life by creating “clarity, power, passion and life-change.” Your One Word can stick with you the entire year, so when you determine it for 2026, share it and live it!
My word for 2026 is PURPOSE.

I look forward to expanding, aligning and focusing my purpose, and doing this collectively with all of you. My personal family along with my Utah PGA family (500 Members strong) is my foundation. I look forward to growing and evolving while my core purpose is always at the forefront.
