2012 Book of Golf Now Available

Hot off the press, and available to you at no cost at your local golf course. The 2012 Book of Golf contains an almanac’s worth of golf information. Every 2012 tournament schedule is listed in the book. All of the professional events; amateur events; women’s events, and junior events for the entire golf season are listed.

Utah Section PGA Block Parties a Hit!

PGA Block Party is a huge success! Community event leaders and organizers have been enthusiastic about including PGA Professionals and golf learning programs in their schedules. One of the early Section introductory successes has been an Itty Bitty Snag Golf introduction program for 3-5 year olds held at the Herriman City Recreation Center. The Section is capturing the interest in golf of as many mothers as youth with this program.

Utah PGA Golf Professionals Honor 2011/2012 Award Winners!

The Utah Section of the PGA of America recently honored an impressive group of Golf Community Leaders and Awards Winners. The 2011-2012 “class” of award recipients were honored at a gala awards banquet held in conjunction with the 27th Utah Section Annual Meetings held in St. George Utah. One of the many highlights of the event was the presence of PGA of America President Allen Wronowski. ABC 4’s Award Winning Sportscaster, Wesley Ruff who served as Master of Cerimonies, joined President Wronowski.

Utah Section PGA Rolls Out Golf 2.0

PGA President Allen Wronowski was on-hand at the recent Utah Section Annual Meetings to help preview PGA and Utah Section Golf 2.0 plans. President Wronowski fulfilled the promise made at the 95th PGA Annual Meeting in Orlando that every PGA Member needs to hear the important message of Golf 2.0. He promised section visits by the officers of the PGA to all sections that wanted one. The Utah Section Officers jumped at the chance to host the PGA President and President Wronowski more than fulfilled his promise.
