The results are in! The Utah Section PGA would like to congratulate the 2017 Award Winners. We are very grateful to be surrounded by so many quality PGA Members, Apprentices and Sales Representatives that create such a strong and tight knit golf community in Utah. We applaud all of these winners for making the Utah Section one of the best in the country.

Professional of the Year: Eric Nielsen, Willow Creek Country Club
Teacher of the Year: Tommy Sharp, Golf Lab
Youth Player Development Leader: Darci Dehlin-Olsen, Glenmoor Golf Course
Assistant Golf Professional of the Year: Cole Carlson, Hidden Valley Country Club
Merchandiser of the Year-Public Facility: Craig Norman, Hobble Creek Golf Course
Merchandiser of the Year-Private Facility: Ryan Kartchner, Hidden Valley Country Club
Player Development Award: Dave Carter, Glendale Golf Course
Superintendent of the Year-Public Facility: Mel Duke, Toana Vista Golf Course
Superintendent of the Year-Private Facility: Eric Gifford, Riverside Country Club
Horton Smith Award: Chad Pettingill, Jeremy Ranch Golf & Country Club
Bill Howard Golf Citizen of the Year: Wesley Ruff, Channel 4 Sports
Bill Strausbaugh Award: Tom Rogers, Promontory Golf Club
Gentleman Jeff: Steve Elliott, Forest Dale
John Wallace Sales Person of the Year will now be called the Jon Unger Sales Person of the Year with the first recipient being Jon Unger, Callaway.

We are also excited to announce our newest Board Member: Craig Norman from Hobble Creek will be serving a three-year term and we look forward to having him serve the membership.
