Pete Stone and Shawn Edwards beat the elements and the other 24 players to capture the two qualifying spots today in the Nationwide Utah Championship Section Member Qualifier. The two of them fired 72 in the high winds and cold temperatures at Hidden Valley Country Club Lakes/Valley Course. Edwards birdied three out of the last five to tie stone. They will join Dustin Volk, the 2011 Section Champion, and represent the Utah PGA at the Nationwide Tour event in July.
